In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, we invite you to join us for the Beyond Cancer Speaker Series featuring Roberto Tinoco, PhD, on Tuesday, October 15, from 12:00 - 1:00 PM via Zoom. This lunch discussion provides a unique opportunity to hear Roberto’s personal stories and research insights, exploring how his experiences and work intersect. It’s also a great chance to connect with colleagues and get to know them beyond their formal roles at UCI and the CFCCC.
Dr. Tinoco is a cancer and viral immunologist. His research efforts focus on discovering new strategies to improve immune function to help patients with cancer. Dr. Tinoco is of Mexican heritage and he grew-up in the city of La Puente, in Los Angeles County.
